The Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of foreign affairs introduced the basic situation of Wenzhou enterprises' "going global": as of mid June this year, 151 enterprises registered and went out, with a total investment of 1 billion 750 million, of which China invested 1 billion 500 million; and 1 to June this year, Wenzhou went out to 9 enterprises, with 960 million total investment and 150 million Chinese investment.

At the forum, all enterprises in Wenzhou mentioned the increasing cost of business, especially the rising labor costs.

Yifu Lin said at the forum that the average monthly wage of the workers in the whole country will reach about 1000 dollars by 2020.

This will be very unfavorable for the development of labor-intensive enterprises, and some of the labor-intensive enterprises will remain in China, but the number will be very low.

"As far as I know, at present, there are three thousand or four thousand shoemaking enterprises in Wenzhou, and most of them need to be pferred."

When it comes to where to move, Yifu Lin says African countries like Ethiopia, Tanzania and Senegal are good choices.
