As of the end of November, the number of overseas stores in UNIQLO has reached 864, exceeding the number of stores in 844 of the Japanese mainland.
In the 2015 fiscal year's annual report, UNIQLO said that as of August 2016, the total number of Fast Retailing Stores in the world will reach 3173, of which Japan's UNIQLO brand is Japan.

In the 2015 fiscal year ended August 31st, UNIQLO's revenue in the Japanese market increased 9% to 780 billion 100 million yen (41 billion 267 million yuan) compared with the same period last year, while the overseas market revenue amounted to 603 billion 600 million yen (about 31 billion 931 million yuan), a significant increase of 45.9% over the same period last year.
