The United States Is Committed To Expanding The US Export Trade Policy.
The US trade representative said that US export growth is expanding as expected, and that the Obama administration is gradually moving towards the goal of doubling US exports by the end of 2014 and the growth of new jobs.
The US trade representative Ron Kirk recently made a speech at the American Chamber of Commerce, which also confirmed that the US government plans to implement 5 trade promotion initiatives.
Measures
。
Such measures to expand US exports include signing free trade agreements with South Korea, Columbia and Panama, and participating in Pan Pacific.
Partner
Agreement (TPP) negotiations; implementation of US trade agreements and international trade rules to expand American opportunities for market exports and provide the world.
Trade
The leaders of member states of WTO are fighting protectionism and strengthening a rule based global trading system.
Ambassador Kirk said, "in terms of trade agreements, the Obama administration continues to make steady progress with its trading partners, and we are committed to adopting substantive and balanced measures to support the real opening up of the market and to meaningful trade agreements between the producers and consumers of the United States".
Kirk added that "TPP can really drive economic growth and enhance American exports and employment opportunities", and the US government has taken the agreement as the first priority.
The 9 TPP participating countries put forward a broad outline of the TPP agreement in a discussion conference in November 2011 and look forward to reaching an agreement before the end of 2012. It is also said that Japan, Canada and Mexico are also keen to participate in the TPP negotiations.
Kirk said that over the past 3 years, the dispute settlement cases submitted by the United States to the WTO dispute settlement body were more than those submitted by other members. The right to trade in the United States was affected by disputes with trading partners. The United States will also require trading partners to be a priority in accordance with the norms of WTO.
The canal also pointed out that large and growing markets like mainland China, India and Brazil provided significant opportunities for US exporters.
Similarly, for Brazil and India, we are using all available resources to clarify, resolve and exclude trade and investment barriers between the United States and these emerging markets.
