Sweden Green Process Scavenging Chemicals

A new study from Lund University, Sweden, claims that one kind of Green technology The most dangerous chemicals can be cleaned up, which are used for textile dyes and then dumped into rivers and farmlands. The technology was developed by Maria, a biotech doctoral student at Lund University, who was experimentation with fungal enzymes and bacteria in textile industry drains and municipal sewage treatment plants.

Maria said that the invention of the technology was that she finally made a breakthrough after combining two different purification processes, that is, biological process and chemical process. "First, microbes decompose the dye in the reactor. This biotechnology is the most important step. However, to ensure that the water is completely purified, it is also necessary to use some chemicals. Under the action of ultraviolet light, a small amount of iron is combined with hydrogen peroxide to decompose the most difficult structure of dyestuff. She explained.

Some experts point out that in the long run, this technology is likely to be used in textile factories in India, China and Bangladesh. Compared with previous methods of combining biological and chemical purification, this technology has been tested in many textile factories, and its environmental protection effect is quite obvious.
