Sewing Machinery For Textile Carbon Tariffs

With the implementation of the carbon tariff, it can be described as "a few unhappy families."

The world bank and the Petersen Institute of the United States recently released a study that predicted that once the carbon tariffs were imposed, China's manufacturing exports would be cut by 1/5, and that of all middle and low income countries would be cut by 8%.

The European Union, the United States and France have put the carbon tariff system on the agenda.

The textile industry has also received a "warning" of carbon tariffs.

Carbon emissions have evolved from an environmental issue to an economic problem facing China's exports.

When Chinese enterprises frequently encounter trade barriers such as anti-dumping and safeguard measures, another obstacle is not far away.

In June 2009, the US House of Representatives passed the Clean Energy Security Act 2009, proposing a carbon tariff from 2020.

In November, the French government proposed that carbon tariffs would be imposed on environmental legislation less than the EU's strict imports from developing countries from January 1, 2010.

Although the carbon tariff of the two countries is still in the "paper talk" stage, its intention for developing countries is obviously "chilling" in China, India and other countries.

The Financial Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences believes that if developed countries implement carbon tariffs before and after 2020, the level of levy is likely to be around 30-60 US dollars per ton.

Moreover, according to the calculation of US $60 per ton of carbon, the tariff rate of carbon tariffs has approached or even exceeded the anti-dumping duty imposed by some of our export products.

According to the study, in the 15 industrial production sectors, the five industries that were affected by carbon tariffs and the highest proportion of production decline were ordinal office machinery.

Clothing, leather, down products, electrical machinery and communication electronic equipment.

"The most severely affected instrument and office machinery manufacturing industry dropped 3.50% at the carbon tariff rate of 30 US dollars, and its output dropped by 6.96% at the carbon tariff rate of 60 US dollars, while the output of textile industry decreased by 1.60% at the 30 carbon tariff rate, while the output dropped by 3.18% at the duty rate of 60 US dollars.
