Wenzhou Has Been Awarded The "China Footwear Export Base".

On March 24th, March 17th, China Chamber of Commerce for the import and export of light industrial arts and crafts and the Wenzhou municipal government held the signing ceremony of the "co construction of China's footwear export base" at the Shangri-La Hotel Wenzhou.

Wenzhou is awarded the "China footwear export base" by the China Light Industry Arts and crafts import and Export Chamber of Commerce.

Zhao Yide, vice secretary and mayor of the municipal Party committee, and Wang Zhongqi, President of China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of light industrial arts and crafts, unveiled their bases.

This indicates that with the joint efforts of the relevant departments of the Wenzhou municipal government and the shoe leather industry association of Wenzhou, the export competitive advantage of the Wenzhou shoe leather industry will have a new carrier, which will better promote the pformation of Wenzhou's foreign trade development mode.

According to the cooperation agreement signed by the two sides to build a "China footwear export base", the chamber of commerce is responsible for providing information on the production, trade, technology and other aspects of related products at home and abroad to the export base enterprises, coordinating and supporting the export business activities of Wenzhou shoe enterprises, organizing the export base enterprises to participate in exhibitions and other trade activities at home and abroad, and providing the export bases with foreign trade remedy measures for our products to deal with foreign countries.

The training and meeting of relief measures to inform foreign trade barriers, at the same time set up an export base column on the website of the chamber of Commerce, and publicize the related situation of base enterprises and their products in the association and service of the chamber of Commerce, promote brand strategy, formulate relevant product export standards, organize experts to evaluate the quality of export base enterprises, and recommend quality products to government departments and society.

And Wenzhou will give full play to the radiation effect of the export base, increase the support of technology, brand, market and information, lead the pformation and upgrading of shoe and leather enterprises, expand the market, truly build the "China Shoes Capital" into a national regional brand, and build the export base of Chinese footwear into a demonstration base for the pformation and upgrading of foreign trade.

The independent brand occupies half of the shoe leather industry in China. Wenzhou has become one of the most competitive shoe leather industries and export bases in China.

In 2010, Wenzhou shoe leather industry completed a total industrial output value of 78 billion yuan, and realized footwear export total value of US $3 billion 740 million.

Products exported to 150 countries and regions around the world, footwear exports accounted for five of the province's three strong.
