Dongguan Shoe Factory Suspended Production Arrears Of Wages 5 Million 500 Thousand

Regarding this matter, the director of the Humen Labor Bureau said that the company's owners had promised to pay nearly 4 million yuan for the company first, pay 70% of their employees' wages and the meals of their employees, and the remaining arrears of employees' wages will be settled through labor mediation.
At present, the company has been sealed up by the court.
Event: the company's employees were paid a few months' wages in arrears yesterday morning. A number of employees of Dongguan Shuang Jie Shoes Co., Ltd. complained to the newspaper that in April 11th, the company suddenly announced that the company had stopped production and told employees of the company not to come to work. Two days later, the company would pay wages to its employees for several months in arrears.
But in April 13th, the company not only paid out the arrears of wages to more than 1600 employees of the factory, but also sent people to close the factory doors, so that employees could not enter the company.
According to their statistics, the company owed more than 1600 employees in the factory for a few months, earning about 5500000 yuan.
At noon yesterday, the reporter came to the double shoe shoe Co., Ltd. located in the Road East community, and saw that the door of the company had been closed.
At the door of the company, reporters saw a notice posted in April 21st asking workers to bring their own data to settle the arrears of wages.

After the mediation of the sub Bureau, the company's owner of the site has promised to pay nearly 4 million yuan for the company, pay 70% of the employees' wages and the meals of the employees, and the rest of the employees' wages will be settled through labor arbitration.
Yesterday, reporters at the door of the security office of the company also saw a notice posted by the Humen Labor Bureau. Because the company's legal representative, Paul, was hospitalized, the labor branch could not be contacted. It was impossible to confirm whether the operator was in arrears of wages or not. In order to maintain social stability and protect the rights and interests of employees, the sub Bureau and the Humen Town Road East Community Neighborhood Committee and the company's owners of the business premises had discussed the following opinions on their labor demands according to the relevant laws and regulations: first, employees were asked to elect three to five representatives of employees to Dongguan labor dispute arbitration tribunal, and the Humen division applied for labor arbitration in accordance with the law.
Second, in order to solve the needs of employees, the company uses the 70% of the total wage amount reflected in the wage table provided by employees from February 2008 to the first half of April to pay the wages of employees.

As a result, half of the actual wages were cut down by half of the staff. However, yesterday morning, when some employees went to collect their wages, they found that they did not receive half the wages they owed.
Ms. Wang, the director of the company's management group, and employee Li Rong showed reporters a number of salary bars in January this year and the wage arrears they had just received yesterday morning.
The reporter saw that Li Rong's salary in January was 1650 yuan, and she paid a total of 2022 yuan yesterday.
The 2022 yuan includes the following months' wages: 100 yuan in January, 595 yuan in February, 728 yuan in March and 599 yuan in April.
Li Rong himself calculated that the company actually owed him a salary of at least 4200 yuan and lost nearly 2000 yuan.
"These are all my hard-earned money.
Before I stop working, I have to work nearly 12 hours every day, but now, the company only sends such a little money to me, how can I accept it?
Li Rong said.
According to Wang Sheng, head of the birth control team of the company, her salary in January was 2100 yuan, in fact, it should be issued 2300 yuan.
Then, in February, March and April, three months' wages did not come out. She counted out that the company owed her wages nearly 6000 yuan, and if she went to get the wages, she could actually get a salary of only 3000 yuan or 2000 yuan, which she could not accept.
Until yesterday, when the staff of the company reported to the newspaper, most of them refused to go to collect their wages. They hoped that the relevant departments in Dongguan would help them, so that the company would pay all their hard-earned money in arrears.
